ERASMUS+ EMBRACE “BEING HUMAN”: IES “RAMÓN Y CAJAL” IN HOSPITAL CLASSROOMS

The hospital classrooms of hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca in Murcia celebrated carnival last 9th February 2018. A party for all the children admitted was held, and its motto was “Superheroes”.

The students of the vocational training course of Beauty Therapy  of IES “Ramón y Cajal” of Murcia also participated in the party, framed in the activity of our Erasmus+ Project EMBRACE “Being Human”, whose main aim is to help people become better human beings. The students added light and fantasy to this moving party by doing these little heroes’ make-up as “superheroes”, and also doing their teachers’, families’ and collaborators’ fantasy make-up.  They also offered a make-up training for the special needs of oncology clients.

To the kids surprise, the teachers of the hospital classrooms, together with health workers, our students and other collaborators, played games, music and performed in different rooms and corridors, always bearing in mind positive values such as emotional intelligence, happiness, self-steem, effort, and music among others. Congratulations to all the people involved for their enthusiasm!
